Objectives

The concept of the OM FUTURES bursary sprang from a very successful reunion of the 1990 leavers organised by Richard Pembroke (B1 1985-90).

In our view the most enduring quality of a Marlburian is that they are open and independently minded and have the ability to engage and get on with people regardless of background. These characteristics have always always been integral to the DNA of a Marlburian and we hope that the OM Futures initiative embodies and perpetuates these characteristics for past, present and future generations.

OM Futures has been supported and endorsed at the highest level by the College as a ground-breaking initiative through which the College can meet their own ambitions plans for bursary numbers. Awareness and information about the initiative is now being integrated into all aspects of College life from admissions to day to day pupil activity.

Our vision is that by 2020-2021 there will be at least five full bursary students at the College funded entirely by past year groups.
